On 1 June 2018, World Environment Day and the start of the new academic year, WMC Thrissur Chapter lit the traditional lamp and launched “Panchoppakonna Vitharana” – a heartfelt distribution of complete study kits to schoolchildren from economically weaker families.

Notebooks, pens, geometry boxes, school bags, umbrellas, and other essential materials were handed over to hundreds of smiling students. For many children, these kits meant they could walk into class on the reopening day with confidence and dignity, just like their friends.

A small packet of study materials, but a big step toward equal opportunity. Once again, WMC Thrissur proved that when we care for our children, we plant the future of Kerala itself.
