Mundel
On 4 November 2018, World Malayalee Council in association with KTCK organised a full-day free medical camp at NSS Hall, Mundel, bringing quality healthcare to hundreds of rural families. The camp was formally inaugurated by Shri Sujith Das S IPS, whose inspiring words reminded everyone that health is the real wealth of a community.
General check-ups, blood sugar and pressure screening, ECG, eye testing, and specialist consultations were provided completely free of cost. Medicines were distributed on the spot, and serious cases were guided for further treatment. Doctors, paramedics, and WMC volunteers worked tirelessly from morning till evening to serve every person who walked in.
This camp at Mundel was part of WMC’s ongoing mission to take essential healthcare to the doorsteps of Malayalees who need it most — because care should never be limited by distance or income.

The World Malayalee Council (WMC) is dedicated to nurturing a global fraternity of Malayalees and individuals of Kerala origin. Through its worldwide network, WMC strives to strengthen cultural identity, promote artistic and intellectual heritage, support community development, and build lasting connections across continents. Committed to unity, service, and cultural pride, the Council continues to uphold the values and legacy of Kerala on the global stage.
