On 13 August 2018, over 100+ Malayalees wearing white T-shirts and green hearts filled the streets of Thrissur for the WMC Thrissur Chapter’s “Mansoon Walk”. Organised in association with Walkers Club Thrissur and Rich India, the walk was a powerful message: let us walk together to protect the earth that gives us the monsoon.

Families, children, senior citizens, and fitness enthusiasts marched with banners and slogans, raising awareness about plastic-free living, tree planting, and water conservation. The walk ended with a pledge to keep Kerala clean and green, followed by sapling distribution to every participant.

This joyful morning in Thrissur proved once again that when Malayalees step out for a cause, change follows every footstep.
